Electric Brixton opened its doors in September 2011, it brought back the life that was previously known as The Fridge and before that, The Ace. The most noticeable difference is the million pound facelift it's been given, where possible back to its original interior features with some twists for the 21st century.

Electric Brixton boasts an amazing stage with unsurpassed sightlines making it the perfect venue for large scale club events, live music, television recording, private parties and special arts events. Across both floors the venue has a capacity of 1,700 for club events and 1,500 for live shows. It is the only mid-range music venue in Brixton which is home to an area with a long-established vibrant music scene, standing alongside many other live music pubs and clubs.

Brixton Jamm is a unique, multi-faceted venue offering a variety of purpose-built spaces. A staple party venue for South London, they have welcomed some of the biggest artists in the world to grace their stage over the last two decades.

The club features the UK's first in-house Martin Audio MLA Compact sound system along with a giant LED visual display & one of the most unbeatable atmospheres in the city. Showcasing a varied programme of both live and DJ led talent throughout the week, the courtyard has had a recent refurb with a larger dancing space, extra booth seating, food offering + retractable roof for partying whatever the weather.

Phonox opened in September 2015 in the former location of Plan B at 418 Brixton Road. The club's concept is "back-to-basics" clubbing, with a single dance floor, and a curated selection of high quality guest artists.

The 500 capacity space has become one of the most respected venues in the capital, and regularly hosts the likes of Hunee, A Love From Outer Space and recently at their 9th birthday, Laurent Garnier.

Black Cultural Archives (BCA) is an archive and heritage centre in Brixton, London, devoted to the histories of people of African and Caribbean descent in Britain. Also known as BCA, it was founded in 1981, by educationalist and historian Len Garrison and others.

BCA's mission is to record, preserve and celebrate the history of people of African descent in Britain. BCA's building in Brixton, opened in 2014, enables access to the archive collection, provides dedicated learning spaces and mounts a programme of exhibitions and events.

The Ritzy is a Brixton institution, much loved for its friendly staff and anti-multiplex atmosphere. One of south London's oldest picture palaces (it originally opened in 1911), today the Ritzy has still got a little of that grandeur.

Its five screens are all comfortable and reasonably sized, while the programme strikes the perfect balance between major blockbusters and independent films, plus late-night shows and classics. There are also two bars, one offering a view across Windrush Square and serving slap-up café food, the other tucked upstairs inside the cinema and playing host to an array of club nights and stand-up shows.

Bricks is a newly reimagined music venue and cocktail bar situated in the heart of Brixton, with community and inclusiveness at the core of its vision. Spread across two floors, Bricks consists of an audiocentric cocktail bar on the ground floor and an intimate club space upstairs.

They believe that a night out at Bricks should be a celebration of music and diversity.

Brixton Storeys — the new chapter for the iconic Prince of Wales. BDF was born inside these walls back in 2018, founded by the Up On The Roof team — the party starters who have been running rooftop sessions in various guises at POW since 2007. Over the years they've welcomed an incredible array of guests to Brixton's skyline, including Todd Terje, Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston (A Love From Outer Space), Gilles Peterson, Crazy P, Dimitri from Paris, Horse Meat Disco, their most regular guest Mr Norman Jay MBE and many more — helping shape the sound and spirit that would become Brixton Disco Festival.

After a period of flux, the venue is now entering a new era as Brixton Storeys, the venue continues its legacy of multi-room energy, open-air terrace sessions and late-night dancefloor moments — evolving the space while honouring the culture that built it.
